VISION

About Us
The department is working with the main program to reduce morbidity of different diseases prevailing in the district, to provide better treatment facilities, control and prevention of communicable diseases, imparting health education etc.

The hospital is linked with reputed health institutions through the Tele- medicine system enables the doctors to consult the super specialists.

Health status
With the commissioning of the Sub- District Hospital building at Diskit (Nubra) during 2002-03, constructed at a cost of Rs.12.75 corers.

Further to Allopathic system of treatment/ medicine, the department provides traditional Amchi system of medicine.

ABDM
The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) (previously known as National Digital Health Mission) is implemented by the National Health Authority (NHA), an agency of the Government of India.The ABDM aims to develop the backbone necessary to support the integrated digital health infrastructure of the country.
PM-JAY
Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY is the largest health assurance scheme in the world which aims at providing a health cover of Rs. 5 lakhs per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization to over 12 crores poor and vulnerable families (approximately 55 crore beneficiaries) that form the bottom 40% of the Indian population.
NTEP
The National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP), earlier known as the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP), is the Public Health initiative of the Government of India that organizes its anti-Tuberculosis efforts. It functions as a flagship component of the National Health Mission (NHM) and provides technical and managerial leadership to anti-tuberculosis activities in the country.
NCD
The National Health Mission (NHM) in India oversees several non-communicable disease (NCD) control programs. These initiatives aim to prevent and manage chronic diseases through health promotion, early diagnosis, treatment, and capacity building
CDC

RBSk & RKSK-
RBSK (Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram) and RKSK (Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram) are two key Indian government health programs under the National Health Mission (NHM) (National Health Mission), focusing on child and adolescent health, respectively, by providing free screening, early intervention, and comprehensive care for specific conditions.
